I started piano lessons at age 8,
studying with a distinguished pianist, educator, and
composer, Alice Davis Berryman for 9 years. I
continued my studies in music where I received a Bachelor
Degree in Music Performance from the University of
Nebraska at Omaha, and studied with pianist, Clarke Mullen.
I took a graduate music course at the University of
Nebraska at Omaha from Doctor James Johnson in Piano
Literature, which covered piano music from the Baroque to
Modern Period. Through the many years of affiliation
with music organizations, I continue to attend music
workshops, State and National Conventions, and music
programs.
